Top Ten Tuesday: 2015 Releases

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where a new topic is given each week by the host blog and participants write up a corresponding list of ten things. Simple, fun, and great for those obsessed with lists. This week's topic is: Top Ten Books I'm Looking Forward To In 2015 (if it helps... in January we will be talking about 2015 debuts).

 Saint Anything

(1) Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen - Was there any doubt about this being at the top of my list?

The Ruby Circle (Bloodlines, #6)

(2) The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead - I'm thoroughly addicted to Adrian...I mean this series.

Shadow Scale (Seraphina, #2)

(3) Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman - I LOVED the first one and the second volume is getting rave reviews. DUH.

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)

(4) A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - Beauty and the Beast retelling AND THE FEY? Where do I sign?!

Ensnared (Splintered, #3)

(5) Ensnared by A.G. Howard - I haven't even read the second yet but MORPHEUS. Always Morpheus.

Mechanica

(6) Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell - Sounds like exactly my kind of fairy tale retelling.

The Orphan Queen (The Orphan Queen, #1)

(7) The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows - Fantasy with magic, need I say more?

Othergirl

(8) Othergirl by Nicole Burstein -SUPERHERO. SUPERHERO. SUPERHERO.

The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things

(9) The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre - I'll admit there's a case of cover lust going on here but the book itself also sounds FANTASTIC. [And that's saying a lot from a girl who doesn't normally get too excited about contemporaries in general.]

Shadow Study (Soulfinders, #1)

(10) Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder - One of my FAVORITE fantasy authors, and she's gone back to Yelena and Valek!? I WANT IT NOW!

  1. Great picks! You've got a few on your list that are on my own - A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Orphan Queen. The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things looks so good, I'm very excited to read that one myself. 2015 is going to be a great year for books, I can't wait. I hope you enjoy them all when you finally get to read them :) Here's my STS.

    1. I agree! 2014 was pretty good but I think 2015 is going to blow it out of the water. Also, it is already so weird typing 2015. I have a feeling it's going to be one of those years that it takes me forever to get used to. xD

I hope you enjoy the books as well, happy reading!

  3. I love Dessen so she is on my list as well. I also really love Morpheus, even though I still haven't read the second book yet either!
