Hi you guys! The first day of the Once Upon a Read-a-Thon has come to an end and I just thought I would give you guys a little update to let you know how things are going for me. I've already veered slightly off course of the stack of books that I had prepared for the event, but it's me so what did you really expect? Beauty Queens was such a monster of a book it kind of burned me out so I decided to treat myself to a new favorite series. Aside from that I'm having a lot of fun with the read-a-thon and have completed both of the challenges for today. So proud!

MINI CHALLENGES!
Mini Challenge Question 1:
What is your favorite type of myth (Greek, Roman, Egyptian etc)?
My favorite type of mythology would probably be Greek because I love all of the drama between the gods and goddess'. It's like a mythological soap opera. :]
Mini Challenge Question 2:
What is your favorite book with some type of mythology in it?
My favorite book with some type of mythology in it would have to be Wildefire by Karsten Knight. I was lucky enough to win an ARC of it and LOVED it. Such an awesome mixture of different myths.
I also completed the challenge from The Musings of ALMYBNENR and that one was HARD.

WOOHOO! YOU GO, ASH! KILL THAT READ-A-THON! Haha, yeah :) Greek is my favourite as well. I like Egyptian too and Roman isn't too different from Greek. I want to learn more Norse mythology though... I barely know any.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the read-a-thon!
LOL! Thanks, hun. I appreciate having a cheerleader. I feel as if I'm barely accomplishing anything for this read-a-thon.
ReplyDeleteEgyptian is cool too, I totally agree. I got really into when I read The Egypt Game as a kid. LOVED that book.
Thank you! :D
Congratulations! You're doing a wonderful job so keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Morgan! :]
