Review: Pushing The Limits

Goodreads Summary: "No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
"
Echo...I knew from the first line of her first chapter that she was going to not only be a heroine that I could relate to and enjoy reading, but one I would adore. I instantly wanted to know more with her, and connected with her. I loved the way that her character was written, I loved how quick she was to put things together...some heroes/heroines seem to drag things out forever and not even understand something when you beat them over the head with it but Echo and I were usually cluing in on things about the same page. I never once wanted to shake her and be all like, "DAMMIT ECHO!"

Okay...talk about freaking sa-woon! I can pretty much say, with few if any doubts in my mind whatsoever, that Noah Hutchins is my favorite male character this year...I mean, I absolutely loved this boy from the second that he was introduced...I devoured his sections of the novels like a mad woman and just loved him. He's just...I love Noah, okay? Favorite male character of the year here. Easily.

Enough character gushing...for a moment anyway...okay, no, wait. Give me a second...-daydreams some more about Noah-....-hours pass-

Alright. Let's go!

I absolutely loved this book. LOVED LOVED LOVED. From the second I picked it up I was hooked, I had to know more about these characters [all of whom interested me and had such personalities, they were such...characters...fully developed, wonderfully realistic characters!] and I just couldn't put it down...I mean, obviously I had to because I had class, but I brought it with me and was devouring it every spare second I had. And the tears...oh the tears flowed freely with this one. I'll readily admit it. My eyes teared up quite a few times. [WARN ME NEXT TIME ALLI!!!] And I got weird looks from my classmates....but it was SO WORTH IT.

This isn't just another contemporary romance...there's so much more to it...there's so much development and discovery and just...I loved it. I loved it, I loved it, I LOVED IT.

In case you couldn't tell from all the gushing. And stuff. ANYWAY. Pick this one up. It's truly a must read contemporary and just plain awesome. Well, not plain. JUST AWESOME.

    1. I hope you're able to soon. It really was an awesome contemporary. It had a great romance but it was so much more than that too, and such a great representation of real love. :]

      Thank you for following!

    1. LOVE hearing that. Echo had so many layers. Like seriously had that whole Shrek thing with the onions going. xD

      And Noah is just...Noah. Yum!

      I'm excited for Bethany's story too. I can't wait to delve in. Definitely pre-ordering a copy! :D
