Adventures in the Nerdom #2

Hiya nerdlings!

Sorry it's been so long since my last Adventure in the Nerdom post but with finals and everything my nerding out had been completely restricted to school...which isn't particularly interesting...but with winter break comes an insane amount of time for me to totally nerd out!

In case you don't remember, Adventures in the Nerdom is a feature on Typing Tiara meant to showcase my nerdier side however it chooses to reveal itself...whether it be bookish, a television show, movies, or just adorable awesomeness.

What am I nerding out over right now?

Yep. I've joined the hordes of epic fantasy lovers who are obsessing over George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire Series. :D

I've heard amazing things about the television show but I haven't started watching yet. I wanted to catch up in the books first. But I am super crazy psyched to start watching the show because I have heard nothing but RAVE reviews from my cousin. And if he likes it then I know I will LOVE it. 

Currently I'm reading A Clash of Kings, the second in the series, and I'm about three hundred pages in. My favorite character? Tyrion HANDS DOWN. I love the Imp.

And of course, everything nerdy is made more fun by having a fandom to gush with! Don't you think? I'm seriously loving hopping around on different blogs that I follow and seeing that others are currently reading these books or have read them. So, who else is nerding out about this book series?
