Goodreads Summary: " Bianca wants to escape.Evernight was a reread for me. I checked it out from the library last year, read it, then for some reason never got around to reviewing it. About a month or so ago I found a copy of it and its sequel for a dollar at my used bookstore and scooped them up with the intentions of finally getting them reviewed.
At the eerily Gothic Evernight Academy, the other students are sleek, smart, and almost predatory. Bianca knows she doesn't fit in.
When she meets handsome, brooding Lucas he warns her to be careful--even when it comes to caring about him. But the connection between them can't be denied. Bianca will risk anything to be with Lucas, but dark secrets are fated to tear them apart...and to make Bianca question everything she's ever believed."
Evernight is another vampire book. But its a fun one, what I'd call a fluff read. The perfect thing to curl up with in the midst of finals or other stressful things. The characters are interesting, the plot has a couple surprises, and its a quick read. Personally I was done in a few hours. [Great if you've got a read-a-thon coming up!] Overall, its a three star book, enjoyable and perfectly likable, with re-readability.
