WWW Wednesday [6]

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading

What did you recently finish reading?

Wilde's Meadow by Krystal Wade - A great conclusion to the trilogy, I just wish it had been a little longer.
Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott - Sweet and charming. A perfect little slice of adorable-ness.
Waking Up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly - A quick yet incredibly fun romance novel.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater - WOW. Just WOW you guys. AWESOME READ.
Crash Deluxe by Marianne de Pierres - Totally had forgotten how much I enjoy this series! Marianne has created such an incredible world. But I'm definitely going to need to reread all three books to totally get what just happened.
Ill Wind by Rachel Caine- Loved this one! Only flaw? The chapters were GIGANTIC. Wish I had the second one though, but alas, only the third is in my possession.

What are you currently reading?

Innocent Erendira and Other Stories by Gabriel Garcia Marquez - Actually read another short story out of this one. PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE. More will be made soon.
Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko - Again with the soon. I hope.

What do you think you'll be reading next?

From What I Remember by Stacy Kramer and Valerie Thomas - This sounds utterly ridiculous and crazy...the perfect kind of contemporary for me, I can't wait to dig in!
A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin - I'll be finished with finals on Thursday and I've been simply DYING to read this one, behind in review books or not I'm going to try and sneak it in.

    1. I have finals this week, reading was an excellent way of avoiding studying and final projects. LOL. Also of relaxing, always get super stressed this time of year.

Yay! A fellow Ill Wind person. I had grabbed it and unknowingly the third one while I was at a used bookstore. Definitely want to snag a copy of the second one soon.

I hope you get The Raven Boys soon, it was a bit confusing in the beginning but well worth it.

Thank you for following AND commenting! Happy reading! :]

  2. I read all of the Weather Warden books but the last one. They are a roller coaster ride, that is for sure! I am jealous how many books you got through! Raven Boys is on my TBR, I have read mixed reviews, but I think I will love it.
    Good luck with finals!! -elisa

LOL. Sheer luck and not wanting to do homework, gets me through an entire stack every time. Raven Boys was REALLY good. I hope you enjoy!

They are quite action-y [totally a word...totally] but I absolutely love the whole weather thing.

  5. Nice bunch! I read most of the weather warden books but stopped cause something about the romance I think, not sure now lol. From what I Remember is a funny one, you might get frustrated with the main guy though, and I have been dying to read the Game of Throne series, but still haven't gotten around to it.

    1. Guess I'll be finding out. I need to track down the second one at one of the local used shops. Can't resist those prices.

YES! I need funny. Funny is perfect during and after finals week.

YES. Read Game of Thrones. AMAZING. Well, the first one is. I haven't started the second one yet. But I LOVED the first. Enough that I ended up having to get the boxed set. I was that excited. xD

    1. Its one of those books that is kind of hard to explain without making it sound dumb but...the dumb downed version is that it is about a girl without psychic powers in a family of psychics who is destined to kill her true love. Its kind of crazy. :]

    1. LOL. I do. And yet I never seem to make it through my entire TBR pile. xD

I was holding off until finals were over to devour them, my Mom treated me to the four book boxed set, and I just finished today. I cannot wait to start. So it looks like we'll be reading it together kind of. :]
