Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
where a new topic is given each week by the host blog and participants
write up a corresponding list of ten things. Simple, fun, and great for
those obsessed with lists. This week's topic is: Top Ten Bookish People You Want To Meet.
(1) Sarah Dessen
Hands down my favorite author EVER. I've read everything she has written and usually pre-order the second I know she has a new novel coming out. Her novels have meant so much to me and helped me through so much. Its truly my dream to meet this woman someday.

(2) Laini Taylor
I adored, no, I LOVED Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It was hands down my favorite read of 2011 and I cannot wait to read the sequel. I also adore Laini's blog, she has such creativity! Her writing is beautiful and she is always working on some adorable project. And she taught me that you can get away with having a character with abnormal hair. My WIP is saved.
(3) Jeri Smith-Ready
I LOVED her YA trilogy. I loved Zach, no, I still love Zach and all of the other characters but mostly Zach and am one hundred percent Team Kilt. I've talked to her a time or two on twitter and she's lovely. And brilliant. And hilarious.
(4) Tamora Pierce
The woman who introduced me to fantasy novels, how could I not want to meet her? :o
(5) Kristin Cashore
Graceling was amazing. Fire was even more amazing. Bitterblue was AWESOMESAUCE. Kristin Cashore has taught me so much about world-building and the fantasy genre. I would love to meet her someday.
She is adorable. And awesome. And capable of writing contemporary fiction, not normally my genre of choice, that makes me swoon and eager for more.
(7) Alli @ Magnet 4 Books
My twinsy in all things bookish. I adore this girl. She's also one of the first bloggers that came to my aid when I started out and has been at my side ever since. :]
(8) Ishita @ The Reading Fish
I adore this chica. She's always up for a late night chat, going gaga over bookish crushes, and she even made me a GORGEOUS blog design. How we have not met in person already is beyond me and something we need to rectify...SOON.
(9) Angela @ Reading Angel
You guys have no idea how much I looked up to this lovely lady when I started blogging. She was one of the greats and so popular and I just loved Reading Angel. And then somehow we became friends. And I became her zombie princess cheerleader. [I'm also positive that she is Hales [OTH reference] and will refer to her as such.] And I owe her a hug. So we have to meet.
(10) Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life
A fairly new, and most definitely welcome, addition to my online circle of blogging buddies...again with the adoring too. Aneeqah is such a sweetheart and always ready to try something new, offer up bookish recommendations, or swarm me with much needed comments. She's like my own bestest cheerleader and excellent if you need a little extra luck in your life. We've got that crossing thing DOWN. :]

Totally agree with Laini Taylor & Tamora Pierce!
ReplyDeleteThey're both brilliant, aren't they? :]
