Top Ten Sequels I'm Dying To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a Meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

(1) Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore - Kristin Cashore is in my TOP THREE favorite fantasy writers of all times category. I LOVED both Graceling and Fire, though perhaps Fire just a smidge more. I feel as though I have been waiting, ever so impatiently, to get my hands on Bitterblue.

(2) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare - Clockwork Angel was awesome. Clockwork Prince was AMAZING and left me saying, "Crazy author did what now?"...In all honesty with Cassie Clare this happens a lot and I love her for it. I have a feeling I will be lacking the adjectives to do justice to Clockwork Princess. I cannot wait to find out how Tess, Will and Jem's story ends.
(3) Spellbound by Rachel Hawkins - Spellbound is actually my WoW this week so for now I'll just tell you that OMGWTHBBQ Demonglass was amazing...gimme Spellbound pretty please?

(4) Shift by Jeri Smith-Ready - SHADE WAS SO FREAKIN AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY STUPENDOUS. If you have no yet read Shade go do it now. Go ahead. We'll wait. That's it. Run along to the bookstore. Scurry, scurry now. *waits* Back? Okay. ANYWAY. Shade was amazing and I just know Shift will be as amazingly awesome if not better.
(5) Insurgent by Veronica Roth - Divergent was such an amazing dystopian read, and I know I'm not the only one that thought so. Tris and Four were just amazing...a true power couple that actually were an even match for one another without the usual damsel-in-distress/hero complex going on. I cannot wait to see what Insurgent holds in store for them.

(6) Surrender by Elana Johnson - I was so thrilled when I won an ARC of Possession way back when, even more thrilled after I had read it and discovered first-hand what an awesome book it was. And the ending...oh the torturous ending...I just have to know what happens.
(7) Last Rite by Lisa Desrochers - I want more Luc...need I say more?

(8) Destined by Aprilynne Pike - You know I couldn't possibly make a list without including one book about the fey. And this is a great series with an incredibly original take on the fey I cannot resist. I love the biological tie-ins that Aprilynne Pike has made and the fantastic characters. Especially a certain yummy sentry whom I miss very much. Suffice to say I need this book.
(9) The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan - This book sticks out like a sore thumb on this list as it's the only one that is already out. And yet I don't have this. I'm trying really hard to wait until it's out in paperback so I can have a matching set...but a girl only has so much willpower and its predecessors were AMAZING. I love these books and can't wait to see how Carrie Ryan manages to tie everything together.

(10) Daughter of Smoke and Bone 2 by Laini Taylor - I have a feeling you guys are going to be sick of hearing about this book before it even has a title, much less before it's actually released...I can't help it though! DoS&B was my hands-down favorite book of 2011, I'm wasting away for want of the sequel. I HAVE to know what happens. I just have to.
